This medium moleskin cover is perfect for a standard A5 insert and is just what you would expect from Saddleback, top-notch in every way.

As a bonus, it also fits a standard Bic 4-color pen in the pen holder. Very happy with this product!

Another great product, the only problem was the "Grandson Tariff" when he saw it. I am sure it will help organize his college classes and I did not have to die before he got it!

I was mildly disappointed to find that it wasn't made in the USA...but I guess Mexico is still part of America...and the craftsmanship is fantastic.

I purchased this moleskin cover to relace and old cheap one I had and could not be more pleased. It looks and feels awesome and teh quality it second to none.

I have bought several of these as gifts for close friends as well as high school graduates. For the ones I really like I always include a 251 page Leuchtturm1917 notebook. My personal cover is probably 15 years old and I use it daily.

I wish I was disciplined enough to journal or creative enough to jot down deep thoughts. Maybe a good New Year's resolution.

Bottom line. This is the greatest thing ever and the longer you have it the better it looks.

Have been looking for an A5 cover awhile now and came across this one. Shipping was quick and the quality of the product is truly amazing. You know this will last a lifetime if properly maintained. Loved it so much I’m looking to ordering another one. For the price you cannot go wrong. Truly recommend this.

It is a very nice cover, solidly built, fits the Leuchtturm 1917 nicely. My only complaint is that the pen loop is too small, for my pens, at least. I am trying to gradually stretch it out, so we will see how that works. I have only had the cover for a few days.

I have been using the Leuchtturm 1917 for a bullet journal since 2016, and am glad for to to finally have a really decent cover.

I think this cover will work better with a hardcover than softcover notebook.

When I missed a couple of appointments, I knew it was time to get an old fashioned planner. I ordered this and one of the suggested planners, and I'm getting back on track! The cover is beautiful, and I had my initials put on it. I look forward to using it for years to come.

It's classy, fits the notebook perfectly and has got just enough storage not too be bulky.

Medium leather cover fits my favorite sketchbook (handbook journal co) perfectly. Add another layer of protection to the sketchbook and weight to straighten out any wrinkles from the papers.

I am really excited about all the possibilities. At this moment, I have a journal inside. I also love the fact that I can put either my debit or credit cards, (making it also a multi functional wallet) or business cards inside. I have all the Saddleback business cards (that were included with each product), so that I can share my love of Saddleback with everyone. I am considering putting my passport inside when I travel, and of course it’s always handy to have a pen available. Best leather ever.

The quality of this piece is top shelf. The size is perfect. My calendar fits perfectly and there is also space for a note-pad, which I needed, being a song writer and public speaker. I always need to be able to make a note on a thought. I got the Chestnut color and it turns heads everywhere I go. I have not been more satisfied with a purchase than this one. If you love great quality leather...Saddleback is your new favorite friend. I now just have to control my leather addiction.

This thing is built like a tank and a joy to have in the outdoors.

Just got this as a Dave’s deal and can’t find anything wrong with it. It’s pretty heavy duty and well constructed. I bought it to hold my registration/insurance documents in my car and I might have to rethink that. It’s too lovely to just sit in a glovebox. It’s the new design and I’m really liking it. Very good design, great smell, great dark coffee brown color. Amazing overall!!

I ordered a few of these moleskin covers to give as gifts and I couldn't be happier with the quality! They really take my "thank you" to the next level, and of course I had to keep one for myself.

Excellent as always. Perfect addition to my Saddle back family. Would love to see a pen holder integrated somehow but thats easily a $2 fix from the planner brand. Also ensures I don't accidentally leave it behind in a meeting!

I've had my Moleskine cover for a little over a year and absolutely love it. I'm grad. student in a writing program, so I use it every single day. I love how strong the leather is, how nice it smells, and the fact that I can tuck my Lamy fountain pen across the top and keep everything together. I have been using my Moleskine cover for a year now.... it is a constant companion. Perfect match for my front pocket briefcase. Fit Form and Function are perfect. I condition it about every three months and it looks new. Like all of my SB products, it integrates into my daily life and becomes one less thing to worry about failing. I purchased for my boss. I have two of them and he admired mine at every meeting. He uses it daily and asked me for the website so he could order his wife a moleskin cover.

I am a journal connoisseur. My wife would say I am obsessed, and she has a point as I have a lot of journals. I never liked the Moleskine, as I wanted leather. Then, I ran across Saddleback Leather. A friend bought their briefcase, and I checked out their site. I loved the leather quality, and decided to pick up a journal cover. The design looked weird at first, as the back has an uneven curve. Then, I inserted my hard-backed unlined Moleskine, and I saw the genius of the design. The leather perfectly fits the journal with as much leather coverage without interfering with the elastic strap of the Moleskine. Awesome. My journal search is pretty much over, as this was everything I kept searching for. I wanted a refillable leather journal that could hold a pen and have plenty of pages. I liked their leather quality so much, I pitched in for several other Saddleback Leather products (briefcase, pouch, notepad holder and Bible cover). Each piece has character while still matching (all are dark coffee in color except for my notepad holder). I've had the jorunal cover for a year, now, and it has a lot of character. The cover has already outlasted its first Moleskine journal, and will likely outlast many more. I highly recommend Saddleback for any of your leather products. This is a small company that really cares about what they produce. The quality is second to none.
