The Love 41 Leather Fanny Bag is made from full-grain (i.e. super tough!) leather. This bag is simple and uncomplicated, yet durable because it has been crafted to the highest quality standards in Old Mexico.

Materials

Unlike our hair, cows are waterproof, right? That’s because the top part of their hide has tightly woven fibers. Our leather is produced keeping all of the natural grain intact (the reason it is called full-grain leather). No scars are shaven or sanded off because that process leaves only a small portion of the grain intact (which is known as top-grain leather). Because full-grain leather is the strongest cow leather on the planet (and the most beautiful in our opinion) that is why we choose to use it. This bag has an unlined interior to keep it super light and is finished with antique brass hardware and a Spanish zipper closure with a leather pull tab

Functionality

This is a far cry from the fanny packs of old...it’s a beautiful way to carry a hands-free daily bag and very unisex. This bag is great for travel or when you’re out and about with kids because it will allow you to take your essentials with you but keep your hands available for all the other things you need to do. It has a zippered front pocket and a waist strap that is adjustable to fit most sizes.

The story behind this leather bag

As you know by now, we have to travel a lot.  Sometimes work and sometimes pleasure.  Regardless, I am always wanting to carry a simplified bag close to my body in order to keep things safe and for my hands to be free.  Lightweight is also very important as I get older.  This Fanny bag was inspired by the need for a bit more room than my waist bag but still being safe and hands-free as well as having an option for both men and women.

Leather Tumbled Fanny Bag

I’ve been a customer for ~ 17 years. I wear it crossbody so that I have quick access to the SPACIOUS pocket. Although it was not as tumbled (wrinkle appearing) or softer as my other tumbled bags, its function has not been affected. I receive compliments and approving looks constantly ??

Amazing versatile bag

I adore this bag. Recently took it on a hiking trip through Olympic National Park and Mount Rainier. I worn it crossbody in the front and back as well as a fanny pack around my waist. So stylish even my 15 year old son wore it too!

Very happy with my purchase

I was concerned this may look too large to have strapped on as a fanny pack but I was very pleased to find it fits and looks like it belongs up front. Very easy o access my wallet, keys and sunglasses and carry other items I ned to have handy. The quality is very impressive as well as the fact that once you adjust the straps they stay put, no need to keep readjusting due to the strap slipping. I purchased this in dark coffee and it looks great.

Leather Tumbled Fanny Pouch!!!!

My husband surprised me with this pouch in dark coffee for Mother’s Day! Let me tell you, it’s so soft and lightweight. Don’t get me wrong, the leather is leathering but as far as weight on the shoulder and around the neck area, it’s just right! This fits all of my daily essentials and then some. I love the supple feel of the tumbled leather! The zipper is smooth and sounds sooo good every time I open and close it! I truly am so pleased with this pouch! It’s just waaaaaaay better than those “luxury” brand ones in quality and comfort!

Awesome Fanny Bag

I got this fanny bag a few weeks ago and it is awesome. I can access everything I need easily when I go on hikes or to the store. I got this in chestnut and it is beautiful. This bag is well made and will last a very long time.

New Favorite for Travel

For me the Fanny bag lays super comfortable against me crossbody. And it holds all my needed items, with a small amount of room left over. Please note that I will not carry this everyday but will reserve use for travel or when I need my hands mainly. I'm a tote girl.

I was able to load the main compartment with travel aleve, office keys, a SBL field notes, L41 Medium wallet, the small pouch from the 3 set, and sun glasses with SBL case.
In the front pocket I fit chapstick, car keys, and SBL Slim card wallet.
Phone would fit in the back slip pocket.

The continental wallet will fit, but I'd have to remove some of the other items.

Just what I was looking for!

I love the simplicity of this leather fanny bag. I needed a bag that goes around my waist and gives me hands free feature. I love the back pocket for my cell phone. I get lots of compliments on this bag when I use it.
