The Jesus Sandals and Flip Flops are in men’s sizes. If you have a fat hotdog foot or wear a ½ size then round up one size. For example, if you are a 9 WIDE, then order a size 10. If you’re a 9.5, then order a 10. For sandals, it doesn’t matter if they’re a quarter inch longer at the heel or toe.

Thermoformed soles are RARE and make it so sandals already feel broken in from day one except for where skin isn’t used to rubbing. They’re so RARE because the male and female molds are SOOOO expensive to buy to shape the leather soles with heat and pressure. But they’re SOOOO much more comfortable than just a flat slab of leather and easier for the toes to break in.

FOOT STRENGTHENING

Nike says elite athletes work on toe and arch strength to increase their sprint speed. When you walk barefoot, or barefoot-ish, your feet strengthen in three ways.

  • Ligaments, tendons and muscles strengthen or relax back into their natural positions.

I love these! I wear a women's 10 and I got a men's eight and they fit perfectly. I was happilysurprised that they are so comfortable! they might look like a slab of leather, but there's something more to them. I don't know what it is, but I like it? I may get another pair in another color!

Yet another spectacular product from Saddleback. Had a little sensitivity between my toes for the first week, and I generally wear flip-flops often, but it finally resolved itself.

Yes the bottoms are a bit “slick” initially, but if you recall what real leather soles shoes are like, you won’t have any problems.
