    Shaving kit

Got mine as a shaving kit as I use older style safety razors to shave with and quality gear didn't fit well with a crappy faux leather kit bag. Great quality. Works amazing for what I'm using it for and I can see tons of other uses if I ever decided to switch it up. Rolled up is the perfect size for a shaving kit that stands out from the crowd.

Just purchased my 4th Dry Bag!

Yep, number 4! After purchasing an iPad case years ago, I decided I wanted a dry bag. Waited for months for it to be available in tobacco. Use it all the time, tons of compliments on it wherever I go. About a month ago I started some early holiday shopping and bought 2 more for my business partners (can't wait to give them to the guys). A couple of weeks ago a buddy of mine treated me to an amazing trip to Vegas. He commented on my bag a few times so when we got home I hopped back on the website and ordered one for him too - he should be getting it any day now. After the dry bag I treated myself to a front pocket briefcase and a pouch. Every piece is a work of art. I'm addicted. Just deciding what the next piece will be. Keep the videos coming Dave, they are great and make me feel even better about the quality and value of your products!

    dry bag

I'm a long time buyer of saddleback products..to date I have classic briefcase, the satchel, simple backpack and most recently the dry bag. I bought the dry bag off of Dave's deals.. if there is a flaw in the bag I have yet to find it...I'm a RN working in an Emergency Dept..as such I carry lots of things I need to use while working...by the way I got the larger dry bag...its well built, I love to stuff various things into this bag and it handles it all...if I had any complaints it would be to make the cinch strap longer...other than that its an awesome bag and lives up to Saddleback products...before I buy any product I research any available product out there. There is lots of leather companies out there...but none that can match the quality of Saddleback products. My next purchase will be the messenger bag....which I intend to use on my excursions this summer. Oh by the way I might mention the staff of Saddleback Leather. They are cheerful, helpful and just a delight to work with....These products might be a little expensive..but they'll serve you well forever....Not many companies out there like this company....Buy just one product from them and you will be hooked forever.. oh I forgot I have the portfolio large and small...the bible cover and the moleskin cover....

    Perfect Bag for Travel

My mind is simply blown away by the amount of clothes I was able to put in my large dry bag. It is currently holding 5 days worth of shorts, jeans, shirts, socks and other regular "stuff" that I need to wear, and it is holding it all like a trooper. I did have to push on it a bit to get the buckle to the 2nd strap hole, but it is plenty voluminous for what I need. This DCB has softened up beautifully and is almost velvety in feel. I'm super happy with this bag!!!

    Very versatile bag

This is a wonderfully versatile bag. I have the large Chestnut bag. I was using the classic backpack daily to go back and forth to my gym at work, but it wasn't the ideal bag for the job. The dry bag is very similar to the waterbag, only smaller. There is no video showing how to use this bag on the website, but watching the waterbag video will show you how to "stow" the strap when carrying open. It's the perfect size for an overnight bag or gym bag, and the smaller sizes could pass for a woman's purse. There are a few differences between the dry bag and waterbag, besides the number of straps. The handle is sewn on, not riveted, and its not detachable. Since the bag is smaller, it likely won't be carrying massive amounts of weight. Second, the strap is attached with a screw type clip, instead of the quick release type. Personally I'd have ratcheted the quick release type, but its no big deal. Third, this bag is meant to be carried open or rolled, the strap isn't long enough to do the "through the handle" closure that the waterbag does. So you can roll it and use the strap, or carry open and stow the strap. It's about the size of a large brown paper grocery bag. It's super versatile, and in my opinion, the perfect combination of size, weight (no pigskin), and utility. It'd be a perfect carry on, overnight bag, gym bag, etc. I have about 15 different saddleback products and this is my favorite one.
