The leather feels premium and the craftsmanship is excellent.
* Paul Revere messenger bag: Quite heavy, solidly crafted, structured and boxy with a large capacity. I currently use it as a backpack.
* The toiletry bag has a massive capacity and even features an extra compartment. I use it for the gym to pack: phone, power bank, airpod, whey protein powder, headband, shaver, comb, hair wax, and deodorant.
* The coin box has been repurposed as my kid's Pokémon card storage box.
* That red leather cord is fantastic; my wife tied it into a bow to decorate her bag.

I absolutely love the blue leather of this item. Please give us small accessories in the same shade of blue. Passport Wallet, wallet, coin purse, AirPod pro case, AirTag case, etc. And if you are feeling generous add the color to your regular lineup. These items don’t need the 250th anniversary stamp, just the same color. I have been buying your merchandise for 20 years and am getting tired of my go to colors (tobacco and DCB). Give me a reason to buy.

Dave, I just want you to know that haven't bought many of your new Testament books and haven't been a member in the past and buying a briefcase for my son for graduation, etc. etc. I just want you to know. I really don't even need these bags I just do it because you're truly good American. You try very hard. You make extraordinarily nice stuff most of it. Where to begin…
I’ve heard of Saddleback a few times from various people and organizations.
The backpack which is a smaller version of the tank is perfect. I tend to carry too much, and this backpack helps me choose the necessities. It is extremely well made which is a huge part of why I chose to purchase it. I plan to carry it forever. I’ve received at least 2 compliments already from strangers in the few times I’ve worn it out in public which is pretty cool.
I’ve found a use for most of the smaller pouches included: sunglasses, pens, tech accessories, etc.
I’m officially a Saddle back fan for life!

The Club Membership Bundle = the SBL gateway drug. This was my first big SBL purchase. I hemmed and hawed over going for it. After all, it is not inexpensive. Well, let me tell you, this backpack is a beast! (Not in a bad way or even a heavy way) It is so versatile. I am blown away by the craftsmanship. This is top notch quality! I purchased the DCB and it is getting some great character with use. I love it more every day. I have carried it every day for 3 months straight. Work, church, out and about, etc. Oh, it is good for hikes too, but so much more. I am able to fit my 40 oz. Yeti, large wallet, all the nice organizer bags, notebook, and other odds and ends in the main compartment with ease. I can fit a THICK full size Bible or book in the front pocket - it also fits my iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard case. I can fit either my 12 oz or my 16 oz Yeti travel coffee bottle in the outer side pockets. I also love the key lanyard inside. Such a clever design inside and out. Very durable, practical, and functional. I love it!
If you have a Tank and want something a little smaller or have even pondered the Tank, love the look of it, but it is just a little too big or heavy, THIS backpack is the one for you. Heck, it is the one for everyone.

I was concerned about the size of the bag after eating some of the other reviews however I feel this is a great size for just running around. More interior room than I was expecting and the construction and materials are tops. I love the way the bag looks and feels. Just got the conditioner and will be applying that soon. Overall, I'm very pleased with the package and I'm even finding uses for the smaller accompanying pouches that were included. Great overall value for the quality you get!

I first would like to give a shout out to Fallon at Saddleback Leather - She is amazing! She took time with me, as this was my first big purchase from the company. She was incredibly helpful and even was able to ensure my Membership set was being packed up for shipping.
The Membership backpack is phenomenal! It is nice and sturdy, yet not too heavy. I had been eyeballing the OG Tanks and it just seemed that they would not be a good fit for me (more on that further down). The amount of items I can pack away is impressive! My bag typically is packed with my quite thick Bible, my 40 oz. Yeti, my A5 notebook and Hobonichi Cousin planner, all of the organizer bags (SUPER handy - a place for everything and everything in its place!), cell phone, iPad Pro Air, Field Notes, snacks, meds, and a whole lot of other goodies. I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it was with the tube pads. I have a spinal fusion with a plate, 4 screws, and a cage in my lumbar area and was concerned that this bag would not work well for me. Not a problem at all! I continue to be blown away and get SO many compliments on my bag. It is such a great opportunity to share your amazing company with others. Thank you for this incredible hiker’s backpack. It is a slam dunk!

I've been looking for The Perfect Backpack, the last backpack I'll ever need, and the ultimate multi use piece of gear. The 2025 membership backpack is perfect for me as a daily bag/purse. Like all women I need to carry all the essentials with me: pens, notebooks, random rocks, cool bones, laptop with charger, bags of plant seeds, a textbook, and some chapstick.

The leather is high quality and the stitching looks fantastic. I've been enjoying the chance to break in my new bag. One if the best things about leather is just the visual changes that happen just by bending a strap, or buckling a flap.

Really enjoyed all the organizers that came with this bag, and they've already come in handy for some day trips.

Long, long-time owner/user of SL. I prefer backpacks for my EDC, though the briefcases have always been functionally better, as I could have the size that better fit my daily use case. I was skeptical of the size of the mini-tank. Without elaborating, this is perhaps my favorite SL product I've EVER owned. I'm not just "happy" with the club offering, this is just right for me. My 14" MBP / 13" iPad Pro, necessary books/bible, journal, pens, papers, and Yeti bottle fill it in nicely and off I go! I believe the construction of the entire set is a step above other club offerings...more in the "classic" SL construction. I do highly recommend.

I first became aware of Saddleback Leather in a segment of the “How It’s Made” tv series. I was impressed by the story and the thought and quality that went into the product. Visiting their website I learned about their membership program and decided to join. The product selection and quality of the products that came with the membership were outstanding. I also ordered the Waterbag I learned about on the tv segment. With everything in hand I can say the designs, materials and construction exceed my high expectations. A pile of travel bags has gone to charity to be replaced by the Waterbag and travelers backpack which are more versatile, durable and better looking than all they replaced.

Couldn't be happier. Took me a long time to pull the trigger. Have been eyeing the full size tank for years but always thought it might be too big for what I need as EDC. Now that this was offered it was an easy decision and I don't regret it at all. Yes, the strap loops need to be broken in but I can't really imagine any other solution that would keep with the design of the bag. and once they break in they really are fine.
The bag was barely a week old and the straps/buckles were still pretty stiff when I first went through airport security. They pulled it aside for a secondary check and when the lady had a hard time with the straps and I explained that it was still new and needs to be broken in she said "no problem and very cool bag."
So this is my new personal item and I love it.

I have several Saddleback Leather products. As always, the quality of these products are above reproach. The hiker backpack is the sweet spot of everyday carry backpacks. Plus, my Sig 365 fits perfectly in the side pocket!

OH MAN, OKAY - So Ive NEVER done this type of club before so I was quite nervous and excited! I work at a fast food place and so money is TIGHT to say the least but I COULD NOT PASS THIS UP. I saw the value IMMEDIATELY and have NO REGRETS! The quality items you get for the cost is UNHEARD OF. When I got the leather delivered and opened the boxes I was FREAKING BLOWN AWAY! LITERALLY at that moment I KNEW that THIS IS MY OFFICIAL BRAND. I knew that no other leather company will EVER have my loyalty- I was just floored by the quality, construction, feel, smell and EVERYTHING - I could NOT find 1 dang thing to complain about! Not to mention all of the other goodies you get besides the leather! Are you kidding me?! THIS IS MY FINAL DESTINATION. IM HOME. FINALLY. ;)

There is one thing about Saddleback, the designs are unique and impecable, and on top of of that the leather is absolutely beautiful. Ive got Dark Coffee Brown, which has the perfect tone and darkness for it to be so beautiful now, and even more beautiful once it ages and creates that amazing patina.

Im so in love that Ive got the Club memberships 2023 and 2024 within just a few months away, almost instantly. The double sided Military Duffel is beautiful and massive, the 14" overnight is beautiful but just a bit smaller than I imagined from the pictures. Is my new gym bag, my gym smells now of beautiful leather every time I go..

There’s in only one way for me now… to increase my Saddleback Collection every year. Im already tasting that moment when the new one arrives, to open the box, smell that leather and uncover my next new love.
