Large Leather Portfolio

Being an office professional for over 35 years, I have to say this is the largest full sized leather portfolio I've seen in my entire career....it's not as big as the Trapper Keeper that I used to take to school as a kid, but it's definitely reminiscent of those days. This thing is an absolute TANK. The paper pad side is big enough to completely house a full legal pad of paper or even a spiral bound notebook. My iPad fits very comfortably on the left side. It's got the build quality (and more) that you'd expect from Saddleback Leather, and it's definitely over-engineered. It does need a little breaking in as with all leather products. The pen loops are just a hair small for the pens I use, but they both fit the slim Apple Pen that I use with my iPad. It's very roomy and while it's everything you need to carry in an essential "kit" back and forth to meetings or the office, it fits perfectly inside my Front Pocket Briefcase that I've used over the past 12 or 15 years or so. This will absolutely last me the rest of my career and will probably be passed along to a younger professional when I retire.

I have owned countless portfolios and organizers over the years, and nothing even comes close to the quality and functionality of this Large Leather Portfolio. The moment you hold it, you immediately understand why Saddleback has such a loyal following.

The leather is absolutely gorgeous and feels incredibly rich and substantial without being bulky. Every detail is beautifully thought out, from the pen holders and pockets to the way it keeps everything perfectly organized without feeling cluttered.

What I love most is how versatile it is. It works just as well for business meetings and travel as it does for everyday organization. I can carry my notebook, documents, cards, pens, and essentials all in one place while still looking polished and professional.

It has completely elevated the way I work and travel. Instead of carrying random notebooks and papers everywhere, everything now feels intentional and streamlined. I constantly receive compliments whenever I bring it into meetings or coffee shops.

Like all Saddleback products, this feels less like a purchase and more like an investment in something that will last a lifetime. The leather only becomes more beautiful with use, and I already know this will be one of my favorite everyday carry pieces for years to come.

I love this thing. It holds a spiral notebook, is firm enough to take notes without a table, generous pocket for a tablet or book, feels great to hold, and even smells good.

My leather portfolio is a great upgrade from my last portfolio that I had for the last 6 years. This one should definitely last longer and will look great and professional. The added bonus is that it fits my Microsoft surface or my Remarkable when I am out for meetings.

This portfolio is gorgeous. It makes a very positive impression when I pulled it out at I meeting I recently added. The craftsmanship is top notch. The pigskin liner is fantastic. I got the dark coffee one to match my barrister briefcase. When I pulled out my portfolio at the meeting, the impression I gave off was that I am a serious person here to have a serious discussion, so don't come at me with some B.S. This portfolio is very nice and high quality. It is a bit heavier than my last, but I expected that due to the thick leather. That is not a downside as it makes it a lot tougher. This should last a very long time.

I was going to get the (new to me) SBL 7-ring binder and fill it with FranklinCovey products. All told, it would've been over $200. I had occasion to open my large portfolio and remembered that FC has both ring-binder fillers and wire-bound fillers. I have an older model portfolio, with a large sleeve on the right side. It holds my wire-bound planner just great! If you get the wire-bound, just to let you know you get a thin notebook for each month, with 2 pages per day. Also a page-finder meant for wire-bound, and an 8.5 x 11 Address/Phonebook. (Sorry so long, but I'm a huge fan of both SBL & FC, so to use them together tickles me to death!)

I have had the Medium for 7ish years, daily use has given it an amazing patina and I always get good compliments. I checked back in saw this one and thought it would great to tote around my MacBook 13" .... except Apple has shrunk the width by 0.2" since I bought mine. So, guess who's getting a new MacBook?! Excellent and prompt shopping to Australia, highly recommend

This portfolio is absolutely beautiful and build like a tank. My ONLY issue, as a pen geek, is that the pen holders will not accommodate thick pens. However, I still prefer this to elastic pen holders that will stretch out and not last "100 years".

I bought this a few months ago after my old portfolio wore out and I saw that this had superior construction and 100 year warranty. Believe everything that’s written about this because it’s absolutely true. Incredibly solid, functional and beautiful. Worth every penny.

High quality as always! I purchased this as an anniversary present for my fiancé, and he was incredibly tickled with it! Very sturdy, well crafted, holds his iPad with keyboard well, even with a legal pad on the other side! Very beautifully made, and a true treasure to own!

I just received the large portfolio as a gift for my son, Dave ,who recently obtained his Doctorate in Ministry. As he travels around the Country to conferences, I’m sure he will be delighted to carry his Mac Pro, full pad of paper, plus lots of other import things in his new leather portfolio. It’s a very cool travel piece he will keep forever.

Holds everything, looks and feels great, more then a few glances and positive comments. Best part? It’s “story “ or use is generational, or will be. I get the next or 1st 20+ years then one of my grandkids probably. We’ll see...the portfolio will do the time...:mantelpiece_clock:

I have an older large portfolio that has about half the features of this. I actually gifted multiple of these older versions years ago. Wish I had this one as it looks fabulous.

Need an upgrade program!!!

I just got this, so there hasn't been any aging yet. It hold a everything it should The pocket for holding papers is a expanding folder, so it can hold a contract or two without it bunching or crumpling. It also has to more pockets for faster access. The only downside is it has two loops for holding pens and they are not big enough to handle holding the metal g-2 plot pens. You can still slide the clip in, but It would be nice if it was slightly larger to accommodate.
