I like everything about the case except that I can't use the iPhone buttons. I have to take the iPhone out of the case to click the buttons. I was able to use the buttons on my previous iPhone 10 case.

Very happy with the case. Protective, doesn’t impede use, and of course made in the great State of Texas.

    Long wait....Worth it!

I've been wanting this for a LOOOOOONG time. I'm a belting leather fan since the old Hartmann days. This case is awesome. The fit is excellent and the workmanship terrific. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5-star (Or even 6 :-) is the shaved section over the side button is just inflexible enough to cause problems when trying to double-click to use ApplePay or complete a transaction. I'm hoping it becomes a little more supple in time. Now I can only hope it will also fit the next iPhone!

Exactly what I had hoped for!

I love this phone case! It’s everything I had hoped it would be. First, it’s protective. The leather is SO thick, and it wraps perfectly around the edges and corners. Then it looks and feels like any other high-quality piece of SBL leather. I just love the rough cuts and edges! It’s clearly hand-cut and hand-formed, which is exactly what I wanted, not some machine-made, template cut-out. Daily I admire the obviously hand-trimmed edges and corner cuts around the screen. The button carve-outs and the corners quickly started to develop a nice warm darker patina, so the case has contrasting colors that highlight its features. As for feel, the case is perfectly sticky to my hands while being smooth at the same time. It’s not AT ALL bulky, so the phone is still perfectly slender and fits into any phone-sized pocket or holder easily. The case is cut very carefully so as to not hinder the cameras (front and back) or the charging port and speaker holes at the bottom. The volume and power buttons are completely covered with the leather carved out slightly to highlight their position and to provide a tactile guide to their location. The volume button is completely exposed, though it takes a real fingernail, not my chewed off ones, to flip the switch easily; this doesn’t bother me because I rarely flip the switch and easily use my pocket knife when I do. The rear cameras are exposed through a perfectly punched-out hole, and the position is perfect. I love how the phone fits into the case perfectly snug, and the bottom corners are just flexible enough to let the phone “clip” in, then they firmly hold those corners with no concern.
